Lashlake House
Thame, Oxfordshire
DESIGN: Designed by Louise Holt Interior Design, the cabinetry at Lashlake House is an elegant, modern interpretation of a classic Georgian-style kitchen.
BRIEF: Designed to complement the architectural features of this stunning listed Oxfordshire town house, characteristic Georgian leaded windows and a low ceiling are complemented by traditional in-frame cockbead cabinetry. An extended adjoining dining room brings height and light to the overall space and access to the gardens beyond; with renovation by Barr Build and architectural design by HollandGreen.
CABINETRY: A freestanding central worktable features deep drawer boxes. Dresser-style larder cupboards, along with the traditional cooker hood, exhibit a bespoke cornice moulding.
FITTINGS: The cabinetry is finished with antique brass D-bar handles and doorknobs and off-white stone worktops.
